Love, Marriage and Parenting

So what has love, marriage and parenting got to do with being a global leader?

"The most important decision you'll ever make has nothing to do with your money or career - it is who you marry" - Warren Buffet

Finding Your Soulmate

I waited a long time to find my soul mate - but it was worth it. In finding and marrying my husband, I found my true partner in life, someone who deeply respects my personal vision, mission and purpose, and believes marriage to be a foundation for the flourishing of both partners in equal measure. We share everything in our marriage, home and family life equally - and I truly mean that. There is no subtle suggestion that I, as a woman, should take more of the burden of parenting, and that level of support has allowed my career to flourish at the same time as managing a deeply happy and satisfying home life.

We both believe that raising children is one of the most important jobs we can do in our lives and that it echoes all of our values from our professional lives in our commitment to be of service in our world.

Our framework for raising children, how we educate them, the values we instil in them, their spiritual education and their moral standards, are foundational to our own role as leaders.

I believe that finding the right partner is THE most important decision you can make for the fulfillment and achievement of your life’s purpose.

Never settle for anything less than the best.

Coaching leaders to understand the impact marriage and family life can have on a successful career is often a core part of my leadership development work, whether single or married, and the way in which we can also leave our leadership legacy on those we love is an important part of our personal vision and mission
